Show Me Your Ways, Lord – It Is Well.

Psalm 25

In you, Lord my God,
    I put my trust.

I trust in you;
    do not let me be put to shame,
    nor let my enemies triumph over me.
No one who hopes in you
    will ever be put to shame,
but shame will come on those
    who are treacherous without cause.

Show me your ways, Lord,
    teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me,
    for you are God my Savior,
    and my hope is in you all day long.
Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,
    for they are from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth
    and my rebellious ways;
according to your love remember me,
    for you, Lord, are good.

Good and upright is the Lord;
    therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
    and teaches them his way.
10 All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful
    toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
11 For the sake of your name, Lord,
    forgive my iniquity, though it is great.

12 Who, then, are those who fear the Lord?
    He will instruct them in the ways they should choose.[b]
13 They will spend their days in prosperity,
    and their descendants will inherit the land.
14 The Lord confides in those who fear him;
    he makes his covenant known to them.
15 My eyes are ever on the Lord,
    for only he will release my feet from the snare.

16 Turn to me and be gracious to me,
    for I am lonely and afflicted.
17 Relieve the troubles of my heart
    and free me from my anguish.
18 Look on my affliction and my distress
    and take away all my sins.
19 See how numerous are my enemies
    and how fiercely they hate me!

20 Guard my life and rescue me;
    do not let me be put to shame,
    for I take refuge in you.
21 May integrity and uprightness protect me,
    because my hope, Lord,[c] is in you.

22 Deliver Israel, O God,
    from all their troubles!

Stay Blessed. God Loves You. 🙂

May The God of hope Fill You With All Joy And Peace As You Trust In Him,- Sow & Reap.

Romans 15

15 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbours for their good, to build them up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: ‘The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.’[a] For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews[b] on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written:

‘Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;
    I will sing the praises of your name.’[c]

10 Again, it says,

‘Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.’[d]

11 And again,

‘Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles;
    let all the peoples extol him.’[e]

12 And again, Isaiah says,

‘The Root of Jesse will spring up,
    one who will arise to rule over the nations;
    in him the Gentiles will hope.’[f]

13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Paul the minister to the Gentiles

14 I myself am convinced, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with knowledge and competent to instruct one another. 15 Yet I have written to you quite boldly on some points to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me 16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. He gave me the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

17 Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God. 18 I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done – 19 by the power of signs and wonders, through the power of the Spirit of God. So from Jerusalem all the way round to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ. 20 It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation. 21 Rather, as it is written:

‘Those who were not told about him will see,
    and those who have not heard will understand.’[g]

22 This is why I have often been hindered from coming to you.

Paul’s plan to visit Rome

23 But now that there is no more place for me to work in these regions, and since I have been longing for many years to visit you, 24 I plan to do so when I go to Spain. I hope to see you while passing through and that you will assist me on my journey there, after I have enjoyed your company for a while. 25 Now, however, I am on my way to Jerusalem in the service of the Lord’s people there. 26 For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the Lord’s people in Jerusalem. 27 They were pleased to do it, and indeed they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews’ spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings. 28 So after I have completed this task and have made sure that they have received this contribution, I will go to Spain and visit you on the way. 29 I know that when I come to you, I will come in the full measure of the blessing of Christ.

30 I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me. 31 Pray that I may be kept safe from the unbelievers in Judea and that the contribution I take to Jerusalem may be favourably received by the Lord’s people there, 32 so that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed. 33 The God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Stay Blessed. God Loves You. 🙂

A Pray Of One Who Has Lost All Hope And Courage: Losing All, To Gain Double.

Part 13, B

Job 13: 20-28

Job’s Despondent Prayer

20 “Only two things do not do to me,
Then I will not hide myself from You:
21 Withdraw Your hand far from me,
And let not the dread of You make me afraid.
22 Then call, and I will answer;
Or let me speak, then You respond to me.
23 How many are my iniquities and sins?
Make me know my transgression and my sin.
24 Why do You hide Your face,
And regard me as Your enemy?
25 Will You frighten a leaf driven to and fro?
And will You pursue dry stubble?
26 For You write bitter things against me,
And make me inherit the iniquities of my youth.
27 You put my feet in the stocks,
And watch closely all my paths.
You [a]set a limit for the [b]soles of my feet.

28 Man[c] decays like a rotten thing,
Like a garment that is moth-eaten.

Stay Blessed. God Loves You. 🙂

Depression Part 1: Victory Over Depression…

Depression and suicide are claiming more lives faster than expected. There are many people that are depressed and are quiet about it which is so sad. Child of the Most High God, silence is not the solution and pre- mature death is not your potion. Speaking with the right people will do a whole lot of difference in your life. A human being is a community being by default, God that created the heavens and earth said it is not good for MAN TO BE ALONE(Genesis 2:18). If the creator that designed every human being said so, then it is so! I have watched depression robe lives of people I know and their mental health destroyed of many. Regardless of your age, depression is real.

Oxford dictionary definition:

Depression : feelings of severe despondency and dejection. (misery, sadness, unhappiness, sorrow, gloom, low spirits..etc)

Depression is an illness. It is real. Diseases do not know religion. Even christians do get depressed. Yes, please! They do because they are human beings.

  1. If you are thinking: People will laugh at me.

We serve a God that is the doctor of all doctors but He also allows doctors to exist because we are co-creators. Friend if you are depressed, ashamed of it, do not want people to know but you are suffering in silence. You need to find help ASAP and it is not something to be ashamed of. That´s why is it written in the Holy Bible, ” By your stripes, we are healed(1 Peter 2:24,Isaiah 53:5). If illnesses where something to be ashamed of then why did Jesus spend a whole great part of his ministry healing?

“You are robbing yourself of what is your potion”- Healing

2. If you are thinking: What is the point of getting help?

As a Child Of God. You have an appointed purpose specifically assigned to you, to accomplish in the body of Christ(Jeremiah 29:11). You are alive because you have an appointment to do for the GLORY of GOD. Your contribution to His Kingdom. The point of getting help is your not created to be an island too. Man needs man(Genesis 2:18). If you are sick, you need professional help both from the doctors who have been called to that area of expertise and the leaders of the church to pray for you. Both go hand in hand, working together for your good.

James 5:14-16

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. 16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

3. If you are thinking: Self medication is enough.

Think for a minute, imagine depression like a tree. It is standing within you firmly with deep roots. Just because you can cut off the branches and shade the leaves today, does not mean they won´t grow back tomorrow. That is what your doing.

Cutting yourself secretly until blood flows is not the solution. Self prescription won´t cut it. Alcohol will wear off and reality will be ready to greet you once you open your eyes. Faking the smile all day around the crowd will end when you get home and look in the mirror. Buying everything fancy might work for a while but how long will it take before you find out there is a difference between what you need and what you want? Involving in sexual immorality from partner to partner will not fill that empty void. Trying to make so many friends and trust none, will depress you the more. Suicide is not the solution either, believe it or not hell is real. Are you really ready to meet your maker when you reflect on your daily life? It is painful but true, you can not run from you! Deal with the issue now! Make up your mind. Today is a gift, take action now! Your life is too precious to go by with out joy.

John 10:10

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

4. If you are thinking: I do not have time for this, I am too busy.

Well, you have got one life. And one life only! Everything else you think right now is more important than your health will not matter when you lose the ability to do it all. Be it work or people. Work will end when you lose the ability to do it. People often walk away at times in life when others are ill. If they love you, they should encourage you to seek help.

Proverbs 17:17

17 A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

5. If you are thinking: I have gotten all the help I can. But still, I have seen no improvements.

I testify to the goodness of God. God is faithful. Give it all to Him. Have faith and hope in the LORD. Cast your cares upon the LORD, for He cares for you(1 Peter 5:7). Believe in God for there is nothing impossible for Him(Luke 1:37). Pray for strength during this trying time as you wait upon the LORD. Isaiah 40:31 -But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Yes, healing might take time but that does not mean it´s not coming. Even though healing does not come, the peace of God will be with you to help you get through this trying time. Pray for the peace of the LORD that surpasses all human understanding. (Philippians 4:7)

1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

To be continued.. God love you.

Part 2: Learn to Love Your Self – Defined By God

Love yourself through the eyes of whose you are. A child of the Most High God. The world will always set it´s standards, those come and go. The worldly standards of “love”. This has always changed with different generations. The word of God will never change. It says, you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are loved and treasured by Him. He will never leave you nor forsake you. The choice is yours to choose who you believe. If you choose to believe God, then peace that surpasses all human understanding is the choice you have made.

The honest answers to a latter post are known by two people. You and God. You know the problem vividly. God knows and has all the solutions to each. The Holy Bible is the place of reference. Taking some time off to reflect on where you stand with knowing God and doing His will is a good place to start. Reading the word of God daily will enlighten you more with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Love defined

1 Corinthians 13

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Through whose lens do you choose to define love?
